Hundreds of protesters are due to gather in Baltimore on April 23, demanding justice for 25-year-old Freddie Gray who died after suffering a severed spine while being transported in a police vehicle. City officials admitted on Monday that the man had requested an inhaler while in police custody, but said calls for medical assistance were not made for another 42 minutes. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to take Gray to a local hospital, where he slipped into a coma and eventually died on April 19. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To use this footage please contact the Ruptly Client Desk: cd@ruptly.tv ---------------------------------- Twitter: http://twitter.com/Ruptly VK: https://vk.com/ruptlytv Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/Ruptly LiveLeak: http://www.liveleak.com/c/Ruptly Vine: https://vine.co/Ruptly Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/Ruptly Google Plus: http://google.com/+RuptlyTV YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/RuptlyTV DailyMotion: http://www.dailymotion.com/ruptly Video on Demand: http://www.ruptly.tv

http://democracynow.org - Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced Wednesday she was dropping all charges against the remaining three police officers charged in the arrest and death of Freddie Gray. Gray died in April 2015 of spinal injuries after he was arrested and transported in a police van. Four officers in the case went on trial earlier this year. None were convicted on any of the charges they faced, which included murder. We get reaction from Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake.
